Executive Chef Ashton Moore is responsible for launching a new menu every month, which is a Herculean task by all measures. Having opened in May of 2016 we are now approaching our 300th menu. Three hundred menus. That equates to over 4500 menu items, not including catering. Chef Ashton Moore is firmly at the controls, having delivered menus such as Southern BBQ, Food Truck Revolution, Latin America, New York, Mardis Gras and many more.
Chef Ashton has been with Hopyard since 2019, born and raised in Nova Scotia, she trained at the Culinary Institute of Canada here on Prince Edward Island and has worked with our past chefs. Her incredible imagination and willingness to play with ideas and food regions have led to menus that nurture the senses. A gifted and respected leader, Ashton has helped build an amazing group in both the front and back of house.
Her ideas continue to shape our plans for the future. We said back in 2016 that our goal was to change the face of dining in Charlottetown and Chef Ashton has continued to expand the boundaries of flavor and ingenuity on the culinary scene. We are believers in comfort food, but also in challenging your comfort zone. Buckle up. It’s time to eat!!
